Job Description

The Carlsbad Resort is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our resort, ensuring that all aspects of hotel operations run smoothly and efficiently.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where no two days are ever the same. As a Hotel Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, bell, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, sales, accounting, and safety/security departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Security: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of safety and security protocols, ensuring that guests and employees feel safe and secure at all times.
  • Customer Service: Foster a culture of excellent customer service, ensuring that all guests receive a high level of service throughout their stay.
  • Operations Management: Manage the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all tasks and duties are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their jobs effectively.
Requirements

To be successful as a Hotel Operations Manager, you will need:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years' experience in hotel operations, with a proven track record of success in managing teams and implementing operational improvements.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of staff members.
  • Knowledge: A strong understanding of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance procedures.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $130,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
