Scientific Writer

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Writer / Science Communicator to join our team at Cochrane Germany Foundation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for various audiences.

• Develop and write nonscientific publications on evidence-based healthcare topics for the Cochrane Germany Foundation.
• Collaborate with our team to create engaging content for our blog and social media channels.
• Assume editorial responsibility for our publications and ensure high-quality content.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of our publication and communication strategy.
• Handle external inquiries from journalists and media representatives.

• Completed degree in medicine or natural sciences with additional qualifications in science or medical journalism.
• Relevant professional experience in science communication.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to write different types of texts on various topics.
• Experience in dealing with press and media representatives.
• Interest in the work of Cochrane and evidence synthesis methodology.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
• Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form.
