Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Inspector

At Eastern Fire, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team in Bangor, ME. As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards.
  • Utilize online scheduling calendars to receive scheduled tasks, customer locations, and maintain other company documents.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships and review inspection results with customers.
  • Turn in required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and company vehicles in good working order.
  • Stay current with code requirements, industry changes, and obtain NICET certifications.
  • Complete in-house and manufacturer training programs on fire protection system inspections.
  • Obtain OSHA 10 certification through our company safety program.
Requirements:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Mechanical and math aptitude.
  • Exceptional computer skills.
  • Professional and organized.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in fire sprinkler inspection, testing, maintenance, and installation is required.
Certifications and Licenses:
  • Valid state driver's license required.
  • NICET certification at Level II Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance is preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Industrial, commercial, and residential building environments with moderate to high noise levels.
  • Comfort with working at heights as required.
  • Mostly a physically demanding role.
  • May need to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Travel to multiple job sites in a day, some overnight travel may be required.
