Job Summary

Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to serve as a Lead in our Med Surg department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, unit activities, and staff performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the nurse manager to direct and evaluate patient care and unit activities.
  • Craft patient assignments based on individual needs and growth trajectories.
  • Manage clinical and non-clinical activities on the unit in the absence of the unit manager.
  • Foster a seamless flow of information among team members.
  • Lead improvement initiatives to elevate patient care outcomes.
  • Serve as a mentor and guide for colleagues.
  • Troubleshoot and find solutions to ensure exceptional care.
Requirements
  • Valid and current Arizona RN License or compact state license with the ability to become licensed in Arizona within 30 days.
  • BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications.
  • A minimum of 1 year of DOC/Med Surg experience as a Licensed RN with demonstrated technical proficiency.
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; bachelor's degree is preferred.
