Job Summary:
Sentara Healthcare is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at the Advanced Imaging Center in Norfolk, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI examinations while maintaining the safety and integrity of the MRI operational area for all individuals.
- Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
- Work closely with a care team, including cardiologists, cardiac nurses, and imaging specialists, to complete complex cardiac images and provide advanced patient care.
- Participate in research initiatives, providing imaging for new and upcoming products and procedures.
Requirements:
- Completion of an MRI school or MRI certificate program, or a 24-month program in radiologic technology in lieu of experience.
- Approximately 1 year of experience in a radiologic technology position, including radiologic tech, nuclear medicine, mammography, or ultrasound.
