Job Overview

Lakeland Christian Academy - Early Learning is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Before/After Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be working under the supervision of the Cub Care Director to assist with daily lessons, maintain a safe learning environment, and promote critical thinking skills within a biblical framework.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and enjoy working with children in a fun and interactive setting. As a Before/After Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various activities, including STEAM projects, music, and movement exercises.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Enter student names into the data system
  • Help plan engaging activities for children
  • Ensure accurate check-in/check-out procedures for students
  • Participate in fun activities with the students, promoting socialization and teamwork
  • Maintain a safe and organized environment at all times
Requirements
  • Clear background check
  • A genuine love for children and a commitment to their well-being
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Teamwork principles and a strong work ethic
  • A Christian worldview and understanding of our educational philosophy
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience in early childhood education
  • An associate's degree or higher in a relevant field

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
