Dental Assistant

Sun River Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at our New Paltz location. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, preparing and dismantling the operatory as needed.
- Monitor and update patient charts, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Record patient appointment data, including no-shows, cancellations, and emergencies.
- Process radiographs and maintain dental laboratory supplies and instruments.
- Follow OSHA standards and infection control guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical school diploma preferred.
- 0-1 year of work experience in a dental setting.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish (oral and written) are highly desirable.
- Competitive hourly rate: $20.50 - $22.00 per hour.
