Emergency Medical Technician

Sunstar Paramedics is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and transporting patients to medical facilities. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency medical care to patients in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Operate an ambulance vehicle safely and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff
- Work collaboratively with other emergency responders to ensure patient care and safety
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have completed an EMT training program
- One year of experience as an EMT
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
Sunstar Paramedics is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. As an EMT, you will be required to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will also be required to work in a variety of settings, including emergency medical services, hospitals, and other medical facilities.
