Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for overseeing testing processes to ensure that products align with established standards of quality and performance. This role involves conducting regular inspections to maintain product conformity and performing audits to prevent defective products from reaching customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate part quality, process quality, and material handling/storage to minimize defects.
  • Conduct required testing as per product specifications and report findings accurately.
  • Communicate the status and acceptance of test specimens to the production team.
  • Ensure product conformity during startup and throughout production runs.
  • Perform basic dimensional inspections using hand gauges.
  • Verify product startup through first shot submissions.
  • Conduct color validation using spectrophotometers and visual assessments.
  • Confirm proper material selection for work orders.
  • Maintain communication regarding production quality status.
  • Approve and validate job start-ups and process changes.
  • Document material acceptances and rejections using IQMS software.
  • Collaborate with Assembly, Molding, Process, and Team Leaders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Understanding of food safety standards and FDA regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. occasionally or frequently.

Compensation: Up to $20/hr.

Work Schedule: 1st Shift, 7AM to 7PM, Rotating Schedule.
