Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Golden Corral. As a key member of our food production team, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including yeast rolls, cakes, pies, and specialty desserts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Production: Prepare hand-made yeast rolls, cakes, pies, specialty desserts, and other baked items to meet production needs.
  • Breakfast Bakery Items: Prepare breakfast bakery items on weekends to meet production needs.
  • Buffet Production System: Complete use and following of the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
Operational Excellence:
  • Quality Control: Ensure that every product in the bakery is always fresh, tasty, visually appealing, and hot, when appropriate.
  • Recipe Adherence: Maintain quality by preparing all products following Golden Corral recipes and standards.
  • Portioning and Recipe Yields: Maintain proper portioning and recipe yields.
  • Bakery and Dessert Caf Production Guide: Follow the Bakery and Dessert Caf Production Guide.
Guest Service:
  • Guest Interaction: Be friendly and courteous to guests and assist them with baked goods.
  • Just-in-Time Delivery: Know and follow position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery.
Cleanliness:
  • Duty Roster: Perform duty roster and meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
  • Local Health Department Laws: Follow local health department laws.
