Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Baptist Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing MRI exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist will work closely with our experienced staff and radiology specialists to create a comfortable and considerate atmosphere for patients seeking testing. This role requires a strong understanding of MRI procedures and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI exams with precision and accuracy
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of MRI procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest MRI technologies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program with a minimum of an associate degree
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography and MRI (preferred) or ARMRIT in MRI
  • Must be MRI certified within six months of hire
  • BLS for healthcare provider from AHA, ARC, or AHSI
  • One year of experience in MRI operations and procedures preferred
