Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Switcher to join our team at Federal Express Corporation. As a CDL Switcher, you will be responsible for operating a commercial vehicle to transport packages and ensuring timely delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a commercial vehicle to transport packages and ensure timely delivery
  • Load and unload packages from the vehicle
  • Sort packages correctly and efficiently
  • Use basic tools and equipment such as skate wheel rollers, dock carts, hand-held scanners, chutes, and unloading devices
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and Department of Transportation (DOT) file
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL - Class A) to operate in interstate commerce
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions regarding work duties and safety methods
  • Ability to discern numbers and information to sort packages correctly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

May work in hot and cold temperatures

May work in an environment with fumes

May work in an area with loud noise

Pay and Benefits

Pay: $24.30-$25.30/hour

Additional details: Full-time CDL Switcher position available on the afternoon/evening shift with a 1:30pm to 10:00pm Monday - Friday schedule. Class A License/Resume Required
