- Collaborate with the tax department to ensure seamless integration of audit and tax services.
- Advise clients on tax planning opportunities identified during audits.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
- Present audit findings and recommendations to clients in a clear, concise manner.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions that enhance their financial operations.
- Ensure all audit engagements comply with firm policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in audit and tax.
- Supervise and develop audit staff, providing ongoing training, feedback, and career development opportunities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Participate in the recruitment and retention of audit professionals.
Requirements
- CPA certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit and tax.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and IRS regulations.
- Proven experience managing audit engagements and leading audit teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
