Job DescriptionAt Sterling Engineering Inc., we are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing safety systems, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Advise facilities on regulatory compliance and S&E requirements.
  • Partner with corporate S&E to develop and execute strategies.
  • Assess, prevent, and manage S&E issues and risks.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and investigations.
  • Provide leadership and support for S&E initiatives.
  • Conduct shop floor inspections and audits.
  • Coach and mentor S&E professionals.
  • Lead/participate in S&E audits.
  • Support initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in environmental engineering, occupational safety, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Advanced certification in environmental, health, safety, or related field.
  • Completion of OSHA 511 and 501 courses.
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements.
