Internship Role

The intern position is designated as a Parts Runner, with a duration of 6 months to a year within the internship program.

Key Responsibilities

As a Parts Runner intern, your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering automotive parts to service technicians.
  • Maintaining proper stock levels in the parts department.
  • Ensuring cleanliness in the parts area by disposing of used materials, sweeping floors, and dusting parts bins on a daily basis.
  • Preparing cores for return shipment to the manufacturer after part replacement.
  • Assisting the detailing department with vehicle washing during peak times.
  • Helping to maneuver vehicles into service areas when they are inoperable.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • No prior experience or formal training is necessary.
  • Less than a high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
