Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Project a positive and friendly demeanor, greeting customers and thanking them by name when possible.
    • Clear customer checkout lines quickly and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Answer and respond to customer inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner.
    • Communicate effectively with management and colleagues to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Register Operations
    • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to all cash handling procedures.
    • Balance the register drawer at the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Participate in store and sales team meetings to stay informed and engaged.
  • Front End Appearance and Upkeep
    • Maintain a clean and organized front end, including checkout areas and entrance doors.
    • Assist with stocking and facing merchandise, as well as rotating fresh products as needed.
    • Ensure that all necessary forms and supplies are stocked and readily available.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Cashier experience preferred, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and climb as needed.
