Job Profile Summary

This role focuses on providing medical and clinical support services to patients, with a strong emphasis on performing cardiology-related duties. The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge and skills in electrocardiography, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiac catheterization procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct electrocardiograms (ECGs) and other diagnostic tests to evaluate cardiac function and identify potential abnormalities.
  2. Monitor patients' vital signs and hemodynamic data during procedures, and generate reports as needed.
  3. Perform clinical testing on blood gases, oxygen saturations, and activated clotting times, according to established policies and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans, and provide education and support to patients and families.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in electrocardiograph trends and techniques, and maintain proficiency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of EKG course and EKG Certificate.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
  • Two (2) years of related EKG/Holter Monitor experience or working in a cardiology clinic.
