Seeking a dedicated Medical Care Professional to join our team at MaineHealth's Long Term Care Facility, Merriman House. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of commitment and compassion.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide top-notch patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. They will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to residents in the Long Term Care Facility
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Administer medications and treatments according to policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • 1+ year of experience in long term care or related setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
