Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Registered Nurse Manager to oversee the operations of our 27-bed ER unit in Fairbanks, AK. This is a full-time, night shift position with flexible hours.

About the Role

The Emergency Department RN Nurse Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient patient care management, including assigning patients to beds and staff, completing daily rounds, and managing the unit to promote patient and employee satisfaction while maintaining safety and retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee ER operations to ensure quality patient care
  • Assign patients to beds and staff
  • Complete daily rounds to monitor patient and staff satisfaction
  • Manage unit staff and physicians to address patient, process, and family issues
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 2 years of ER/Trauma nursing experience
  • Nursing charge or leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain a Registered Nurse license in Alaska
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • BLS certification
