Job Summary

The Pediatric Office Nurse is a vital member of our clinical team at Holston Medical Group, providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced office setting. As a skilled and compassionate nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our pediatric patients, working closely with our healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality patient care, including vital sign collection, data documentation, and medication administration.
  • Assist healthcare providers with office procedures, such as circumcisions and BC placement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including vaccination records and lab results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal care and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and medical advancements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as enrolling patients in our patient portal and managing medical records.
Requirements
  • LPN license in the state of employment.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a medical office setting.
  • CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with pediatric patients.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records systems.
  • Basic life support certification.
