About the Role

Krise Transportation, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, including monitoring their behavior and providing assistance as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Participate in pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with other drivers and transportation staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake Endorsements.
  • Satisfactory driving history based on review of state motor vehicle records.
  • Satisfactory criminal history and child abuse history checks as required by law and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
  • Initial and routine annual school bus driver physical and tuberculosis testing as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
  • Pre-employment drug and alcohol test and random drug and alcohol testing programs throughout employment.
