Position Summary:

This role is a customer-facing position focused on providing excellent service. Responsibilities include welcoming customers, addressing inquiries, managing phone calls, and processing transactions accurately. The cashier will also be tasked with preparing daily financial deposits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process payments, including cash, checks, and credit transactions.
  • Provide change, generate customer receipts, and maintain transaction records.
  • Prepare and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Handle incoming calls, direct them appropriately, and take messages as needed.
  • Greet customers and assist them with their needs in a friendly manner.
  • Restock refreshments for customers and ensure the area remains tidy.
  • File documents promptly, ensuring organization and accessibility.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by proactively identifying and addressing customer needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications: Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Experience in cash handling and customer service.
  • Experience managing multiple phone lines.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds.
