We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at the Health Center at Gilbertsville. As a PET/CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest-quality diagnostic images and studies for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Safety and Comfort: Connect with patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
- Diagnostic Imaging: Interpret physician orders, select software options, and imaging parameters to produce high-quality PET/CT images/studies.
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with customers and radiologists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education: High School Diploma or Associate's Degree.
- Certification: Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) required. State License as required.
- Experience: 1-2 years PET imaging experience or 1-2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies preferred.
- Competitive Pay: Weekly pay range - $2716 to $3017.
