Responsibilities:
- Setup procedure rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
- Assist surgeons during procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques throughout
- Dress wounds and provide post-procedure care to patients
- Take patient photographs to document progress
- Handle specimens with care, following proper protocols for storage and disposal
- Maintain clean and organized procedure rooms, adhering to strict infection control guidelines
- Prepare patients for procedures, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Educate patients on treatment plans, providing clear guidance on next steps
- Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments and handling paperwork
About Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant, LPN, CDT, or Surgical Tech in a medical setting, preferably in dermatology or a related field
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and concepts
- Familiarity with EHR and Practice Management Systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Compensation Package:
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within our organization.
