We are seeking skilled Telecommunications Network Specialists to join our team at TEKsystems.

About the Role

As a Telecommunications Network Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and terminating low-voltage cable, including cat5/cat6/fiber cable. You will also read blueprints to understand symbols and requirements, and install hardware such as WAPS, cameras, and building racks.

The ideal candidate will have experience with hardware installation and low-voltage cable installation. They will also be able to read and interpret blueprints and understand the symbols used in telecommunications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and terminate low-voltage cable, including cat5/cat6/fiber cable
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand symbols and requirements
  • Install hardware such as WAPS, cameras, and building racks
  • Work in MDF/IDF closets and other telecommunications environments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with hardware installation and low-voltage cable installation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand symbols
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
What We Offer
