Position Overview

Role Summary:

The Clinical Nutrition Specialist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional nutrition services by collaborating with a diverse health care team. This position focuses on enhancing wellness, sustaining health, and addressing both acute and chronic health conditions through tailored nutrition interventions.

The specialist is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments for patients identified as being at nutritional risk, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

Nutrition education is provided as necessary to empower patients in their health journey.

Additionally, this role supports the Food and Clinical Nutrition Department Teams in their initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Educational Background: A Master's degree in Foods and Nutrition or a related discipline is required, along with the completion of a Dietetic internship.

Experience: A minimum of less than one year in a relevant field.

Licensure: Candidates must possess a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) credential and be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

Skills and Certifications:

Essential professional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, with a solid understanding of theoretical and practical aspects within the nutrition field.
