KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enhance branch sales by delivering outstanding customer service to the local clientele.
  • Engage with customers directly, utilizing product knowledge and expertise.
  • Diagnose customer issues and propose innovative solutions.
  • Assemble and customize customer orders as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all equipment and its applications.
  • Collaborate closely with the Branch Manager and external sales team to foster business growth.
  • Support the overall upkeep and organization of the branch.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Prioritize customer service and value in every interaction.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Positive demeanor and attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn and engage in hands-on tasks.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and workshop equipment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Effective time management and deadline adherence.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Comfortable in a consultative sales environment.
  • Mechanical or technical aptitude is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of various hoses and thread configurations is a plus.
  • Experience in industrial sales is beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Epicor P21 software is advantageous.
  • Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plus.
