Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Froedtert Health. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non-technical, and clerical functions.

Responsibilities
  • Collect blood and other specimens from patients for laboratory testing
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures in a clinical laboratory/phlebotomy setting
  • Ensure accurate and efficient specimen collection and processing
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program including clinicals with a minimum of 100 draws OR 6 months of related healthcare experience including direct patient contact
  • Phlebotomy experience in a clinical laboratory/phlebotomy setting, inpatient and/or outpatient draws, preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • ASCP certification preferred
