Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Water/Sewer Crew Supervisor to join our team at the City of Claremore. As a key member of our public works department, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, construction, and repair of our city's water and sewer systems.

About the Role

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires strong leadership and technical skills. You will be working closely with our crew members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train crew members in the operation and maintenance of various equipment and tools used in water and sewer systems
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Respond to emergency situations such as water leaks and pressure losses
  • Oversee the planning and execution of projects related to water and sewer system maintenance and repair
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve crew productivity and efficiency
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in water and sewer system maintenance and repair
  • Valid Oklahoma state driver's license and CDL Class "B"
  • Class D water and sewer operator license from the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $52,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
