Job Overview:
As an Automotive Glass Repair Specialist at Belle Tire, you will utilize a variety of hand and power tools to expertly repair or replace windshields and other glass components in a diverse range of vehicles, at locations specified by our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles for damage before initiating any work.
- Examine all new glass for defects prior to installation.
- Employ appropriate techniques to remove damaged glass without inflicting further harm to the vehicle.
- Install new glass according to Belle Tire's high standards.
- Handle glass materials safely and proficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding services performed.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Belle Tire's operations.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the retail store manager or assistant manager.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Prior experience in auto glass repair or replacement is required, with a preference for candidates having five (5) years of experience across various vehicle types.
- Must acquire a basic auto glass tool kit from Belle Tire.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and management.
- Proficient in reading and writing in English.
- Exhibit professionalism in representing oneself and Belle Tire.
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality service to both internal and external customers.
- High School Diploma or GED is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of frequently lifting items weighing over 25 pounds.
- Requires physical motions such as bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, stretching, and the continuous use of fingers and wrists.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A background in automotive services is beneficial.
Work Environment:
Work hours may vary, with shifts from Monday to Saturday, and occasional overtime may be necessary.

Compensation:
