Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care using a family-centered approach, assessing individualized patient needs and communicating care priorities to the healthcare team.
- Plan, implement, educate, and evaluate care using evidence-based practices, utilizing therapeutic communication to monitor physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and families.
- Engage in the workplace community by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding quality improvement, and representing staff at relevant meetings.
- Document patient care according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate degree with a commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
- Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification required upon hire, with the ability to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON, or other necessary certifications as determined by manager and business unit.
