Job Summary

Morgan Engineering Systems Inc is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Girard, Ohio. As a Welder, you will play a critical role in the production of heavy industrial cranes by welding heavy steel materials while ensuring innovation and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality welds for Non-Destructive Testing, including RT, UT, and MT
  • Weld heavy steel materials in the production of industrial cranes and related machinery
  • Set up and maintain welding equipment
  • Operate overhead cranes and rigging applications
  • Read and follow Weld Procedures and use Weld Gages
  • Troubleshoot problems and develop solutions in welding applications
Requirements
  • Minimum high-school diploma
  • 5+ years' experience welding with large fabrications
  • Ability to pass weld test for FCAW (Flux Core)
  • Other weld processes are a plus – SMAW, SAW, GTAW
  • Ability to multi-task and change direction when needed
  • Basic organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
