About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and creative Culinary Professional to join our team at Down to Earth Cuisine LLC. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading our culinary efforts, managing food service operations, and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking techniques
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure compliance with food safety standards
• Develop and create new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute special events and catering services
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Ensure consistent quality of food presentation and taste
• Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of kitchen management principles and best practices
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
• Creativity and ability to develop innovative menu items
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

Compensation:

$27.00 per hour

This is a full-time position working up to 40 hours per week.
