Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Home Health Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality care to patients in the home setting.

Estimated Salary: $32-$40 per hour

About the Role

The Pediatric Home Health Nurse Specialist will be responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with the developed care plan and physicians' orders. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
  • Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as necessary.
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.
  • Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect both staff and patients according to OSHA standards.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Have a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
