We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Night Shift Therapist to join our team at Redcliff Ascent. As a Night Shift Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing support and guidance to our students in a residential treatment program.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Safeguard Students: Ensure the supervision and safety of students during night shifts, which can last up to 13 hours.
- Document Student Progress: Properly document the supervision of students, including their curriculum work and any challenges they may face.
- Support Student Development: Assist students in their curriculum work, share appreciation and knowledge of nature and the outdoors, and lead students through experiential activities.
- Facilitate Group Discussions: Facilitate group discussions and create a safe environment for students to process their emotions.
- Manage Crises: De-escalate and manage crises within the group, providing support and direction to coworkers during shifts.
- Follow Company Policies: Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal rules, regulations, and laws.
- Education and Certifications: High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred. Must be 1st Aid & CPR certified within the first month of employment, WFR (Wilderness First Responder) preferred.
- Age and Background: 19+ years of age, per state regulations. Able to pass a criminal investigation background check and a pre-employment health assessment.
- Eligibility: Eligible to work in the USA.
