We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Consultant to join our team at Stockman Kast Ryan + Company. As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for developing client relationships and preparing tax returns for Trust & Estate clients.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their tax needs are met.
- Tax Return Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for Trust & Estate clients, including 1040 individual tax returns, 709 gift tax returns, 1041 estate and trust tax returns, and 706 estate tax returns.
- Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations, providing expert advice to clients and colleagues on complex tax issues.
- Leadership and Coaching: Lead, coach, and develop tax consultants, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in trust/estate experience in public accounting or trust office role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Reader/Pro. Colorado CPA license, or actively pursuing certification or Enrolled Agent.
