Job SummaryAs a key member of our team at Home Technology Experts, Inc., the Apprentice Technician will play a vital role in supporting our install technicians and service techs in the completion of installs and service calls. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to use hand and power tools, and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with equipment interconnection and cable routing
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in pre-wire and retro-wire standards and practices
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of simple systems
  • Complete ProSource University within the first year of employment

Requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
  • Familiar with desktop and mobile computing
  • Clean driving record and background check (required for DCJS certification)
