Job Description

The Andrews Institute ASC LLC is seeking a skilled Surgical Instrument Technician to join our operating room support team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in the processing and preparation of surgical instruments. About the Role
This role involves working under the direction of the Sterile Processing Supervisor to properly sterilize and prepare surgical instruments for all cases at scheduled surgery times. You will also be responsible for operating sterilizers, updating surgical instrument tray lists, initiating repairs on surgical instruments as needed, and practicing Infection Control and Universal Precautions. Additionally, you will restock workstations at the end of every workday, carry out routine and assisted tasks, and perform other duties as assigned. Responsibilities
* Process and prepare surgical instruments for all cases at scheduled surgery times
* Operate sterilizers and update surgical instrument tray lists

* Carry out routine and assisted tasks
* Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
* High school diploma or GED certificate recipient
* BLS for healthcare providers - American Heart Association certification
* Ability to read safety instructions and chemical product labels
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
