Salary
The compensation for this position includes an hourly rate of $38.00, which is competitive in the industry. In addition, we offer certification bonuses of up to $700 and quarterly bonuses of up to $500. These incentives are designed to recognize and reward employees for their skills and contributions to the company.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Professional to join our team as a Senior Level Technician. This role will involve performing routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, diagnosing complex mechanical issues, and completing detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of relevant work experience and be certified in heavy duty and medium duty equipment repair.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational or technical certification, and basic tools. You should also have demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventative maintenance and basic diagnostics and repairs. Additionally, you must be able to obtain a CDL within six months of hire and pass a Ryder road test and background check.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact with customers and drivers to properly determine the nature of complaints and complete tasks efficiently. You will also utilize key functions of our shop management system and electronic documentation available. As a senior-level technician, you will serve as a mentor for Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels and demonstrate the ability to access and use internal and external maintenance documents. Other support duties may include service island support, SBTIII training, and completion of OEM on-line diagnostic scan tool software courses.
