Cellular RF Hardware Design Engineer

At Apple, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation and technology. As a Cellular RF Hardware Design Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing the next generation of wireless communication devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect RF front-end designs to meet our wireless product requirements
  • Perform RF system lineup analysis to ensure our system designs meet industry and internal standards
  • Create and maintain specifications for RF components and drive component development with vendors
  • Be involved with schematic capture and PCB design
  • Integrate our cellular radio platforms into Apple products
Requirements:
  • BS with 3+ years of directly relevant experience
  • Experience with radio hardware design and/or RF component design
  • Familiarity with the challenges of development for high-volume manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience with RF circuits and hardware on the lab bench
  • Understanding of core technologies and physics that drive innovative RF performance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in wireless communications standards, wireless technology, and communications market trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator, proven track record of working in a dynamic multi-functional team
  • Well-organized and able to be flexible in a changing work environment
  • Cellular handset experience
  • Experience with RF simulation tools (ADS, HFSS, Matlab)
  • Experience with Python for test setup automation and data analysis

  • Competitive base pay, with a range of $143,100 to $264,200
