The Barco Saronno plant specializes in the development, production, and servicing of healthcare products, all compliant with Europe's latest Medical Device Regulation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate demand and consumption trends to establish and periodically adjust safety stock levels for each component.
- Regularly assess and monitor spare part inventories to maintain optimal stock levels aligned with working capital requirements.
- Develop and sustain comprehensive material data for spare parts.
- Provide essential part information to internal teams, including Customer Service, Global Technical Support, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, and MRP controllers.
- Create purchase requisitions and Stock Transfer Orders (STOs).
- Collaborate consistently with local Depot Repair teams regarding parts usage and with Warehouse teams on sourcing and expediting.
- Assist in defining appropriate stock levels within the ERP system and liaise with global service planners.
- Implement changes in order priorities and analyze their impacts, facilitating consensus planning.
- Oversee the lifecycle of inventory and collaborate with Serviceability managers on Last Time Buy and scrap initiatives.
- Support reporting on KPIs, open STOs, inventory levels, and local spare parts stock, conducting annual analyses of non-utilized spare part inventory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Extensive knowledge of ERP and MRP systems (essential).
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset.
- Team player with collaborative competencies (preferred).
- Previous experience in supply chain management.
- Familiarity with analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with CRM systems (desirable).
- Exposure to multicultural work environments.
