Nurse Career Opportunity in Georgia

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill a position in our Step Down Unit at TotalMed. The ideal candidate will be able to provide specialized care to patients in transition from critical care to general medical-surgical units. This includes assessing, monitoring, and treating patients, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Job Overview
Salary: $1,522.89 / week

Job Location: Thomasville, Georgia

This job is a 92-day contract with a competitive salary. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with an experienced team providing top-notch patient care. As a registered nurse in this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing specialized nursing care to patients in the step-down unit.
  • Monitoring and assessing patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status.
  • Administering medications and performing procedures as needed.
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements
  • Active RN license
  • BLS certification (and other certifications as required by the facility)
  • Minimum two years of experience in the Step Down Unit
  • Excellent communication and adaptability skills
