About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Carrier. As a Journeyman, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our customers by providing expert service and maintenance for commercial heating and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in commercial HVAC systems.
  • Maintenance and Installation: Perform regular maintenance on heating and cooling units, and install, replace, or repair equipment as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers and their representatives.
  • Safety and Compliance: Recognize and mitigate risks and safety hazards commonly found in HVAC operations, and ensure compliance with City, State, and EPA regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of practical working experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED, valid and current Driver's License, and ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Union Membership: Must be a current union member or willing to join a union.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Building Automation Controls: Basic understanding of building automation controls.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
