Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including routine and advanced imaging techniques.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in imaging services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in diagnostic imaging.
  • Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current state licensure.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, working 5 days a week with 8 hours per day. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
