We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Owens Realty Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our properties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning of administrative offices, lobbies, cafeterias, lounges, corridors, elevators, and stairways in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
- Housekeeping: Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, fixtures, windows, doors, trim, and related furnishings; move furniture, supplies, and miscellaneous items as directed.
- Waste Management: Collect recyclable and non-recyclable waste and replace trash can liners.
- Safety and Security: Report safety hazards to your supervisor as appropriate and follow all safety procedures, including PPE and other safety requirements based on the job.
- Environmental Services: Perform work as directed, including cleaning barns after events and maintaining equipment in a clean and ready-to-use condition.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from work.
- Flexibility: Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and AM/PM shifts.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to climb stairs throughout the day and perform physical tasks as required.
