About the Role:

This position is responsible for the accurate reporting of the interstate pipeline assets utilizing various tools including GIS, ArcMap, ArcPro, and UPDM database.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of GIS software, ArcMap, and ArcPro, as well as experience with pipeline and survey stationing.

They will be responsible for researching and updating pipeline features, facilities, and pipe specifications, as well as assisting with the management and editing of daily work orders and maintenance forms.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and take initiative with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize GIS software, ArcMap, and ArcPro to create, edit, and manage pipeline features, facilities, and pipe specifications.
  • Research and update pipeline historical data, including material lists, completion reports, and management of change forms.
  • Assist with the management and editing of daily work orders and maintenance forms.
  • Work closely with project managers and other internal/external customers to ensure quality control of as-built information.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of pipeline and survey stationing, as well as 49CFR192 regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of related pipeline transmission field experience, with as-built or new construction project experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience using GIS software, ArcMap, and ArcPro.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions:

The work characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

Usually, normal office working conditions.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
