RN Fellow in Neurology and Orthopedic Surgical Care

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as an RN Fellow in Neurology and Orthopedic Surgical Care. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will assist with patient care, including observation and documentation of patient healthcare needs and communication of pertinent information to the registered nurse and other members of the healthcare team. Additionally, they will implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate and record changes in patient condition as appropriate, and participate in transition to practice programs to develop clinical thinking and enhanced clinical judgment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization
- Assist with patient care, including observation and documentation of patient healthcare needs
- Implement and monitor patient care plans
- Communicate and record changes in patient condition as appropriate
- Licensure: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Certification: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
