Job Title: Multimedia Sports Journalist

We are seeking an experienced and talented Multimedia Sports Journalist to join our team at Sinclair Broadcast Group. As a key member of our sports department, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for our audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and produce high-quality sports content for various platforms, including television, digital, and social media.
  • Conduct interviews with athletes, coaches, and other sports professionals to gather information and insights for our stories.
  • Write and edit compelling articles and scripts for our sports programs and digital platforms.
  • Shoot and edit video content for our sports segments and features.
  • Collaborate with our production team to plan and execute live sports broadcasts and events.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in sports journalism or a related field.
  • Strong writing, photography, and video editing skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field.
  • Experience with live-U operation and Avid video editing software.
  • Knowledge of NPPA style storytelling and ability to tell engaging stories.
