Procurement Associate

Elanco Animal Health Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Site Procurement Associate to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring a reliable and cost-effective supply of materials and services.

• Oversee the entire purchase order lifecycle, from creation and release to delivery, invoice payment, and order closure.
• Act as a strategic partner to various site functions, including Manufacturing, Capital, and Maintenance, providing procurement expertise and support for their material and service requirements.
• Analyze spending patterns to identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities, leading local sourcing projects from strategy development and supplier selection to contract negotiation and ongoing relationship management.
• Utilize SAP for efficient procurement processes, including purchase order creation, delivery tracking, and inventory monitoring, ensuring timely and accurate procurement operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, effectively manage invoice discrepancies, and actively participate in global procurement initiatives to support overall procurement goals.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 5 years equivalent experience in cGMP manufacturing environment or other regulated industry.
• At least 3 years of experience in Site Procurement or equivalent Purchasing experience.
• A strong understanding of purchasing concepts and strategies and overall Supply Chain operations in a manufacturing environment is needed.

• Demonstrated strong organizational management skills.
• Ability to create and/or modify processes or procedures to coincide with best practices.
• Proficiency with computer systems.
