Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily tasks they may struggle with, including meal preparation, grocery shopping, and personal grooming.
  • Provide social interaction and companionship to clients through conversation and engagement.
  • Listen to clients' needs and wants to ensure a valuable service is provided.
  • Assist with medical appointments, medication collection, and appointment attendance as needed.
  • Accompany clients to stores for essential purchases.
  • Ensure clients are eating regularly, showering, and having clothes changed.
  • Coordinate with nurses or visiting nurses to ensure accurate medication administration and wound care.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingualism preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience as a CNA or personal care assistant
